One of the most moving stories this year came from a family who had lost their patriarch several years ago. They had been sponsoring Mishnah learning since his passing, but this year, on his yahrtzeit, something special happened.
The grandson who had been named after him celebrated his bar mitzvah on the same day. The family arranged for a special siyum to coincide with the bar mitzvah, linking the generations in a profound way.
“It felt like my father was there,” the son told us. “The Torah learning, the celebration, the continuation of his name – it all came together in a way that brought us tremendous comfort.”Our Commitment
